Blaine, also known as the Peach Arch city is a beautiful town in Whatcom County, Washington, United States. The city’s northern boundary is the Canadian border. Blaine is the shared home of the Peace Arch international monument. The population was 3,770 at the 2000 census. Blaine lies between the mountains east of Vancouver, the flatlands of Skagit County, Washington, the North Cascades (including Mount Baker), and the south end of Vancouver Island.  Blaine is home to the two main West Coast ports of entry between the United States and Canada, The Peace Arch Crossing and Pacific Border Crossing. Within minutes from Blaine you can be at the Semiahmoo Resort and Spa, playing golf at one of the many nearby courses, out in the farmland countryside, or enjoying the marine view from the harbor.
